Increasing Revenue and Brand Awareness with Low-Budget Strategy

If you are a startup brand, reaching potential users and increasing your conversions can be a challenging process. In order to manage this process successfully, it is important to create a strategy and implement it correctly.

In this article, I will tell you about the strategy we implemented in our Jebinde brand, which was established in 2022, to increase brand awareness with a low budget. In addition to brand awareness, I share the results we achieved as a result of our efforts to increase trust in the brand.

Problem: Trying to Increase Sales with Brand Awareness Efforts with a Low Advertising Budget in a Period of Increasing Inflation

In terms of competition, the low advertising budget limited the ability of competitors with larger budgets to market aggressively. In addition, it was not easy to reach the target audience effectively with a low advertising budget. Potential customers were unfamiliar with the Jebinde brand, lacked confidence in it and were hesitant to buy our products or services.

Approach: Brand Awareness and Conversion Strategy

At Jebinde, we developed a digital advertising strategy to solve the brand awareness problem. Through research and analysis, we identified the target audience and created custom campaigns to engage them. Our plan was to increase conversions while increasing brand awareness.

Project Management: Google Search and Social Media Campaign Setup

Informative generic search ads were an effective tool to engage with potential customers who were in the early stages of the buying process and were not yet familiar with our brand or product. In this way, we were able to target industry-related keywords and reach a wide range of potential customers. At this stage, we took care to use long tail keywords with low click cost in order to optimize the budget. In other words, instead of Beko refrigerator, we targeted keywords such as Beko double door refrigerator or xyz coded laundry machine. In this way, we increased the visibility of our ads in keywords with medium search volume and low competition, allowing potential customers to recognize our brand. At this stage, we also used the budget effectively by dividing our campaigns by category.

At the same time, we focused on social media advertising. Through engagement campaigns, we enabled potential customers to interact with our social media content through likes and comments. Thus, we achieved our goal of building a community around the brand and increased brand awareness. We also attracted more potential customers to our website with our traffic campaigns. In this way, we introduced our products to more people at low cost. This allowed more people to learn about our brand. In addition, we created our remarketing audiences by separating the users who visited our website by day and the categories they visited. By using these audiences in our conversion campaigns, we targeted users who had visited us before and knew our brand. We created the perception of discount in our audience with the visuals we used with crossed out prices in our conversion-oriented campaigns. In this way, we encouraged our audience to buy.

Success: Increased Brand Awareness and Advertising Revenues

Based on the data presented by Table 1 and Table 3, we are facing a happy ending. Our analysis shows that YOY searches for “jebinde” and “jebinde.com” increased by 4700% and 5800% respectively (Table 1). Furthermore, in Table 3, when we compare the purchase data for the period January-May 2023 with the data for the period August-December 2022, we find an increase of 125%. In this context, our revenue increased by 162%.

Based on the data, I can say that it has been a success. The huge increases in YOY search volumes show that the interest of our potential customers has increased significantly. Also, the noticeable increase in purchase data shows that the demand for our products is rising and customers are choosing us.

We hope our success story with Jebinde has inspired you.
